Title: What Is the Purpose of the Church?

Why do we need this "community"?

But it looks like he always had an audience because they cane out into the desert to meet him there.

The Church is not an organization, it is not a set of doctrines and dogma, it is "the community of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour." With that in mind, what is the purpose of the organizations who call themselves "the church" and what is their use and benefit to the community of believers?

The "vanities" and "priorities of ones own opinions and lifestyles" are overflowing the sifter. and they are called the "chaff". The church is God's purpose for man's ignorance.
