Post by: reddogs on May 16, 2008, 08:16:05 AM
What is the purpose of the Sabbath?

Some Adventist say rest, and sleep all day, some say go to a concrete square box which is called a church and and talk with friends, some say go and convert by passing out pamphlets and magazines and make it their salvation, and others truly understand the purpose of the Sabbath and God is pleased......

What is the Sabbath for, and do we understand its purpose.........

Maybe, at times Rick, it can be about all four?

A nap on the Sabbath is nothing we should feel guilty about, and we should not forsake the assembling of ourselves with others of like mind and conviction. That's a blessing!

We should want to help proclaim His name and do His work on the Sabbath. We should seek to do His will on the Sabbath so that doing His will the rest of the week becomes a little easier.
