We are in the midst of our 7th campaign which started April 14, 2008, in the jungle of Tak – Pangsangkasee, Thailand where the people are very poor and spirit worship and the obvious and experienced presence and power of Satan is seen and felt. However, souls are already being drawn by the beauty and power of the Gospel. There is still much to do, but a sad reality is we are totally out of money!!
Sabbath, April 12, 2008 we completed our 6th soul-reaping campaign which yielded 10 souls baptized and 6 new souls took their stand. Our 6th campaign was conducted in a remote village where spirit worship was so dominant and powerful that the whole village lived in fear of demons. Also, nearly every family had one or more members of their family who had been driven by demons to commit suicide by hanging themselves or drinking poison. Even the Buddhists leaders pleaded with us to pray for the people in the village so that somehow this pattern could be broken and stopped. We are glad to report that God showed His power in a very marked way in delivering souls from demon possession. We prayed with so many individuals and families.
The total number baptized for all six completed campaigns is 61 new souls and 43 new converts who took their stand for baptism. The need is so great here in this part of God’s vineyard that we are back to spending borrowed money. We desperately need help at the earliest possible moment. However, we are spending the borrowed money only to fund the campaigns. There is one great need that we have not been able to confront or remedy, and that is the great need for Thai Bibles to be placed in the hands of all the new converts and those who took their stand for baptism. The cost of the Thai Bibles is $20.00 each, and we need 150 Thai Bibles which would cost $3,000.00. Whatever amount you give will be a great help!
You have done much to bless the ministry of GFCW and we appreciate it and God does also. Our immediate need now is to place a Thai Bible in the hands of every newly baptized person and every new convert committed to be baptized before we leave Thailand. Faithful supporters like you are this ministries’ only God-given support source. Remember, that giving for such a cause as this is you “storing up treasure in heaven”.
