I've been reading about Bill Cosby's woes, and his lack of adequate responses to the rape allegations, and it sounds so familiar. So does reading Cosby's attorneys' attempts to smear the women making the allegations.
So these allegations surfaced before, in I think 2005. But this time is different, thanks to social media and changing public attitudes toward such crimes and the victims. That's what I'm reading.
With Tommy and Danny, the allegations hit the fan in 2006, not much later than 2005. Danny filed his lawsuit to try to shut us up in 2007.
If the allegations against Danny and Tommy had hit the fan in 2014 rather than in 2006, would things have turned out differently, as they appear to be for Cosby right now? That's my question.
