Wouldn't it make it easier to post topics in the designated forums ?

Biblical discussions etc where a place has been provided

Indeed it would Bonnie. Health matters posted in the Health Forum. Doctrinal discussion in that Forum. I think that the Moderators have noticed this. It just makes it easier to follow.  :dogwag:

I am thinking that topics along the line of certain type of human relational concerns such as abuse, etc. needs to be in a forum of its own, possibly even in a semi-private invitational type forum.

As I will be away most of the day, I will let you all comment on this thought.

I think that's a good idea, Daryl, for extended discussion of such sensitive topics.

The topic of abuse does come up from time to time in the 3ABN forum, however, and it seems to me that items related to that issue might need to be commented on there at least briefly because of the guest readers that follow the 3ABN forum to keep up on their information of what is going on.

It is interesting that people such as Dr. Mable Dunbar believe that the SDA church (among other churches) tries to suppress knowledge and thus makes it difficult for reform in the areas of abuse-related incidents.  While it is an unpleasant issue to have to deal with, I personally think it would be well to show that we are able to address it in an open and adult manner when necessary.
