APIA: 20 SEPTEMBER 2012: The Samoa Independent Seventh Day Adventists Church (SISDAC) building at Saleufi was burnt to the ground around 5am this morning. Nothing was left of the building.

Since Samoa jumped the dateline last year causing the local Seventh Day Adventist Church change its day of prayer to Sundays, SISDAC refused to change because of the dateline change.

They have since remained having services on Saturday where all the other SDA Mission have opted to share Sunday with the rest of the other religion locally.

The Police and Fire Emergency Service Authority (FESA) are still investigating the cause of the fire.

A number of regular Seventh-day Adventists started attending the SISDAC after the dateline change because they were locked out of the regular SDA churches on Saturdays.  It was the practical option for most, at least to worship with others who are faithful in keeping the 7th-day Sabbath.

Smells of arson.

Arson by who?

If it is by SDAs of any stripe, they are not really SDAs.   In fact, they are not really Christians in the truest sense of the word.

At this point we don't know.

What is known is that the "Sunday SDA" leadership is dogmatic about their decision for Sunday, and have done considerable to discourage and put down the "Saturday SDA" members.  But that doesn't mean they would stoop to a criminal act.

So why the  building of the Independant SDA Church (Saturday Sabbath people) burnt down we don't know, at this point.
The independant SDA Church, was independant before the dateline change occured.  It is quite a large organization on the islands, with headquarters in Australia, and unlike regular SDA church there, they keep the Sabbath, not Sunday.

There is only fear that foul play may have been involved, and if so it would definitely show unchristian character,  but at this point we do not know, and therefore need to refrain from accusations.

And you know this, how?

Have you not read the history of ancient Israel? Have you forgotten the words of the messenger when she wrote that the scenes concerning the crucifixion of Christ will be repeated in the last days within the SDA church to those who hold fast to truth and righteousness?

The true sheep understand what is taking place, both within and without the SDA church. You would do well to ask for the eyesalve.

Not sure what you mean here about needing eyesalve in this situation.

At this point we don't know what started the fire?  That is fact -- we don't know.  You don't know either.

That I know what has happened in Samoa concerning the Sabbath/Sunday issue and how those who chose to keep Saturday instead of Sunday have faced opposition?  That is fact because I have been  communicating with people who are experiencing this.

That I suggested we should not accuse anyone of something for which  we don't have any facts?  That seems to be the proper Christian thing as well.
