Now a few weeks ago, I was stating that no one has a right to "demand" public repentence from DS or 3ABN.  At that time, it could go either way, and like the rest of us DS and 3ABN could have repented while enjoying the fact that God is God who doesn't put your business in the street.  However........

Free will palys a part in everything.  If DS and 3ABN decide not to settle and go to litigation, they are in essence choosing to bring ALL to the light, including apologies and repentence.  You all might just get your wish.  I feel badly for them , but they definitely have brought a great deal of this, well all of it on themselves.......sigh

Seeing today is September 8th, does anybody know the actual deadline date?

The letter made clear that the offer to negotiate a settlement without litigation was only available until September 10, and that if a settlement was not reached within 30 days, the chances of settling after that were pretty slim.

So 3ABN has until Friday to agree to negotiate without litigation.

Hey, Daryl, you could call up 3ABN and ask them what they're going to do. Or someone else could.

And, Bob, you would expect them to say anything else but "it's none of your business?"  Please tell me that is the only answer you know you should expect.

It will be interesting to see, now that it appears that 3ABN has responded to the demand letter, what their strategy will be.

In what seems to be a humorous twist, the hunter is now the hunted. And if those placing demands upon 3ABN have any smarts at all, they'll have a number of aces up their sleeves, ready to play when the time is right. Perhaps 3ABN will drag it all into court at their attorney's behest. That is what insincere attorney's do best, milk their clients for as many billable hours as possible. I got a feeling their attorney just told 3ABN the retainer for his services just went up---a lot!

It will be interesting to see who will tell the truth in all of this. Will folk at/around 3ABN suddenly "get religion" and find their backbone and be honest? Or, will they continue to be the limp, wet noodles they have been to this point?

There's a sword in the air, but it ain't hovering over Battle Creek.....
