When Seventh-day Adventist world leader, General Conference President Ted Wilson, appears on 3ABN on July 21, will he chat with Danny Shelton live?
Will he ask why 3ABN has contributed to a child molestation cover-up?
-
Of course not! He is appearing to infer his support. They don't care.
-
So he will appear on 3ABN to ensure his support--maybe to help them out with their desperation and paranoia.
-
Can anyone tell me if Elder Wilson will go to 3ABN headquarters, or would they go to the GC for his appearance?

Good question Artiste, after all, the "mountain doesn't go to Mohammed... or does it???"
-
I doubt Wilson considers this to be anything more than another media appearance. I doubt he is viewing this as a statement of support for DS. And he has made a point of going out to the people. He has been in the studios of HopeTV and LLBN, and made it clear that his purpose is to talk to the people wherever he can. 3ABN has by far the largest audience of any network Wilson could be featured on. I think it's the viewers that matter to him, not the network.
-
That doesn't answer my question as to whether he will travel out to southern Illinois to the 3ABN compound or not.
-
Any info on this, anyone?
-
What difference does it make...he continues to show evidence he is a "chip off the old block!!!"
He will do what he views to be politically expediant...you could work to make it "politically IN-expediant" with a vigorous campaign in opposition...anyone want to get serious about turning up some political heat and seeing just how political Jr is???

That would be interesting.

Ted Wilson was on 3ABN this evening (pre-recorded). It was a satellite connection between him and 3ABN from his own office to their own studio.
-
Did he eulogize 3ABN?
-
I have been asked to translate Ted Wilson's Week-Of-Prayer reading into another language, and right now I'm editing my translation. It is a challenging message - is about all I think I should reveal at this time except that it contains a number of quotations from Ellen G. White. You will see his article around October in the special Week-Of-Prayer issue of the Adventist Review.
-
Is there a reason the challenging message shouldn't be revealed at this time?

I remember that his father, Neal Wilson, also spoke some challenging things when he was GC president. However, the church seems to have progressed from earlier liberal leanings in Southern California into the full-blown problems that we have now with LLU and LSU. Being a graduate of both, I have an interest in how it all turns out.
Also the church leadership, in addition to the liberal Adventist problem, has not dealt effectively with the supposedly conservative Adventist entity, i.e. 3ABN.

It has not been published yet.

I'm not saying it was his fault.

There are certain indications that both in politics and religion we have some of the greatest problems with the ultra liberals as well as the ultra conservatives.

I agree.

I agree.
What would this world be like if we all agree? - Or even agree to disagree?
-
We would all be lost to mortal compromise!!! It is simply abiblical.
Idealogues speak of such a world in romantic terms but reality is that Godliness will forever conflict with selfishness to the very end of time.
Christians have always been seen as extremeists because they actually have, and adhere to, high standards and expect the same of others. Evil will always clash with righteousness out of SELF preservation. Get use to it!!!
unfortunately, the human tendency, unleavened, will be to always veer into unrighteousness and self reliance and an abrogation of Faith. In other words, we all have the potential to be Cain's if we do not grasp the Hand of Faith and study to show ourselves to be approved.
