Title: Party Black Bean Salsa

Party Black Bean Salsa

2 (15 ounce) cans black beans (rinsed and drained)
1 (17 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
2 large tomatoes, chopped
1 purple onion, chopped fine
1/8-1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
4 tablespoons lime juice
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup diced mild green chili

Combine all ingredients into a large dish
Chill slightly

serve with tortilla chips.

I love this recipe!  Have had it with avocado added which is good.  Also it is very important to use the fresh lime instead of lemon juice.  I made it for potluck and someone else had also.  We decided mine was better and the reason was she had used lemon.  I also add fresh garlic to the dressing.  :thumbsup:

Grat, the addition of garlic and avocado sound really good. About how much?

One or two cloves depending on how strong you like it and how big they are.  Prob one maybe 2 avocados.
