Danny basically loses his appeal
« on: June 01, 2013, 07:42:48 PM »

http://www.state.il.us/court/R23_Orders/AppellateCourt/2013/5thDistrict/5120274_R23.pdf

That's the IL Appellate Court's order dismissing Danny's appeal in his case with Linda. He didn't want his 10 Commandments books to be part of their marital property, because he doesn't want Linda to have any of the killing he made off those books.

The appellate court seems to say that the real issue is whether the 10 Commandments books are a derivative work of Danny's earlier manuscript. If they are, then Linda gets a share of the profit.

Was your heading a play on words? I don't suppose it was meant to be.

You can hear the 48 minutes of oral argument at http://multimedia.illinois.gov/court/AppellateCourt/Audio/2013/5th/030513_5-12-0274.mp3

Or listen to it via:

I would say that the questions asked by the judges don't give a clear idea of what their decision was going to be.
