Title: Will Tommy Shelton have a happy new year?
Post by: Alex L. Walker on December 21, 2011, 09:45:49 PM
Most people look forward to the new year, but will this be the case for Tommy?

I doubt it.

Tommy will face a jury of his peers in two cases of pedophilia in January.

Tommy will also face his two accusers (myself and D.T.).

I for one look forward to the new year and the fate of life long pedophile T.S.

But will Tommy Shelton be well enough in January to face a trial?

Unless he just dies between now and then, he better be. Pretty sure the court's will not approve another continuance based on fake illnesses. They have been pretty lenient up until now.

Is a stroke the best defense available?

It's worked for Tommy Shelton so far.

The truth is there is a "rumored plea deal". I can neither confirm nor deny this at this point.

I will say this, yes, I did receive a call yesterday, and it appears the defense and prosecution are working on an arrangement.

Unbelievable.

Unbelievable? Why? Not the outcome you want?

Well, sorry, not your call.

Nope.  I want the maximum sentence to be handed to him.  In my opinion, considering the crime (not to mention the years he can't be chardge for), he doesn't deserve a deal.

Again not your call. Dennis and I both agree with the prosecutor's discretion.

I wonder if you could put in a request to the judge to that effect, stating that as a church member you feel betrayed, and that individuals in such positions of trust should receive the harshest sentences when they use their position to victimize the weak, innocent, and vulnerable.

You might even have fellow members who would consider writing such letters too.

If this is the Judge that I think it is.....I don't know.  I'm not certain if they such letters of influence.  I sat under this Judge about 2 years ago on a murder trial.  He's really smart.
