Title: Walker v. 3ABN settled ... maybe
Post by: Bob Pickle on October 25, 2012, 04:17:21 PM
Judge David Herndon has filed a 60-day order announcing that Walker v. 3ABN has been settled ... maybe (http://www.3abnvjoy.com/ilsd-12cv00114/ilsd-12cv00114-doc-70.pdf). The "maybe" is because the settlement has not yet been "consummated," and the order makes clear that it is possible it never will.

Basically, the two sides now have 60 days to finish their settlement agreement, and if they don't, they can ask the court to "delay entry of judgment until a later date," thus keeping the case open longer.

Docket entry #69 (http://www.3abnvjoy.com/ilsd-12cv00114/) contains a brief description of the status conference held yesterday.

But...but...how can this be? So many of the Dannyites have told us repeatedly and emphatically that there was "no way" 3ABN would EVER lose the suit, much less agree to a settlement. What a quandry. They're either going to have to admit that they did NOT, in fact, really know as much as they thought they did or find a way to spin this in Danny's favor.

Perhaps they'll claim as with the IRS that no money exchanged hands. Can you imagine such a claim?

What happened to "3ABN demands a jury trial in this action"?  (as reportedly submitted by Gregory Simpson and Patrick Garvey)

Trial was previously set for April, 2013.

So if both parties have informed the court that the case has been settled, per the status conference report on 10/24/2012, how much have they settled for?

I remember that the original request was for 5 million.

It would be nice to know. Anyone have any idea how we can find out?

To be continued in about 60 days.

And what about other victims that might come forward when they hear there is a settlement?

Do you think that 3ABN's latest litigation against "Save 3ABN" has something to do with the current lawsuit for pedophile cover up that 3ABN is supposedly settling and Danny Shelton's fear that 3ABN scandals will be made more public?

The timing is interesting and revealing.

Yes, I agree, Daryl.
