Dumb Criminal

Katrina Obee, according to the Longmont Times-Call, attempted to make a purchase at a Longmont area Dairy Queen with a counterfit bill.  The clerk informed her that it was counterfit.  So, she took it back and paid for her purchase with a debit card!

Folks, there are names and addresses associated withdebit cards.  So, the police soon had her name and address.  She has been arrested.  A search of her home recovered other fake bills and the equipment on which they were printed.

Police are searching for her common-law husband.

NOTE:  Arrest does not imply guilt. Guilt will only come with conviction if she is tried and convicted.  The possibility may be that she did not commit a crime and any crimes committed may have been committed by someone else.  She may not be the "dumb crimnal."
