I thought it was interesting in the above story that the paper in Eldorado refused to report on Jolly's corruption, and instead printed a glowing obituary and refused to publish Wayne's letter to the editor. http://www.gospelassemblyfree.com/gac/yoke12.htm.One of the media entities there in the 3ABN area asked us around September 2007 whether it was true that the IRS had gone into 3ABN and taken boxes of documents. To my knowledge, that media entity never covered that story. They told us they wanted to wait until the conclusion of the property tax case before covering things like the allegations against Tommy and the IRS criminal investigation. They thought the community couldn't handle it all.It sounded odd when they told us that, and it still seems odd now. Did they ever cover anything? If not, why not? Fear? Bought off?
I think it fairly certain that the IRS did move in in the last half of September 2007.What happened after that is hard to tell. Gerry Duffy, Walt Thompson, Ronnie Shelton, and Danny Shelton say that they were exonerated, that the IRS couldn't find anything wrong, that there were no fines or penalties,k that the case is now closed.I don't buy that.
