A script that changes "AdventTalk" to "ClubAdventist" in a poster's message is worse than censorship. It is deceptive!! (A poster may not realize that his/her post was changed.)

I asked a friend who is a member of that forum if this was true. He tested it and said it is not true. He said as of a week ago he and another were PMing about this forum and they had no problem linking to threads here. So I do not know what is going on. It is not true anymore in any case.

And... here's a knight in shining armour to defend CA is it?

For a moderator you are supposed to be neutral. I would suggest you at least pretend to be such. I always would prefer to verify the facts before I blindly accept as truth some wild tale that seems so fantastic.

Knight, I don't pretend anything. I have no reason to disbelieve the poster who first spoke about this situation.

There is no question at all that it was as I said. Maybe what you have said about this friend is a wild tale and you are asking members here to accept as truth.. I have no doubt it is changed as of now. When did the change occur.
When I first mentioned it or a short time ago when it was brought up again?

As for your inuendo....

It really isn't very good manners to make statements like this. But glad to see you back and in good form

If the party on adventtalk wishes to acknowledge a pm I sent some time ago, long before it came up publically, they have my permission to do so. I notified a party that was the case.

Rather than have you carry such a negative image of me,possibly telling some wild tale, I have a suggestion.
This seemed to bother you for some reason so why not request your friend get a confirmation from Stan that what I said was true, or a denial and that I was telling a wild tale. That way we would know that your friend is not in the wild tale business.  There are others that know this to be true as well and depending on Stan's response it would all be straightened out

In re-reading this I don't think I am out of line to request proof or something more than "I have a friend" and then go on to blatantly insinuate what I said was a wild tale.
I would believe that it is no longer the case, but have not checked to make sure. That is no excuse to go from.....So I do not know what is going on. It is not true anymore in any case. to......I blindly accept as truth some wild tale that seems so fantastic.

I did not insult this man and have had no contact with him, at least under this name to warrant this. Much of C/A conduct seems to be setting up membership rights here. Daryl is the one that decides membership and it is open, but many of us had hoped we had left this type of stuff behind.
There is no EXCUSE coming into this topic going from ,I do not know what is going on to wild tales etc

Dwight, please confirm from Stan if what I said was true or some wild tale. Not whether it is true today, but was it as I said it was previously. Then post it here, or maybe in forum concerns.

If Stan denies this was so at any time, then we can go from there to e-mails from others to see whether your out of the blue accusation, without proof ,will hold up.

That is very interesting, Knight!  Are you saying then, that moderators are not supposed to have opinions?  Or just not share them?  How does that work?

Pm I received on C/A, name deleted. You can see clubadventist in quotes. One of the more well known decided to accuse me AGAIN thru pm there. He decided I was Patsy on adventtalk, but when he typed that in and hit submit it changed to clubadventist. I was not sure what he was talking about defending Bonnie because at the time I had never been to adventtalk. Then when I asked him what he was talking about me defending Bonnie on clubadventist he said I should check out a place called advent talk without the space. So, I checked it out, it seemed to me Patsy tried to give her a hard time most of the time. I asked him why he would think I was Patsy on clubadventist and it did it again.

There is more, and I will furnish the unedited version of this e-mail to the admin here if they want to.
"Knight" owes an apology for this stunt being pulled again and again. Or maybe just being removed would help keep the abuse down.
BTW, to the person that wrote this, when I defend Bonnie I do it in my regular user name.

LOL. Now you are getting paranoid. No I am not Dan. Just be aware that I have MANY accounts. I have used them from time to time to talk to you and Bonnie but neither of you knows who I am.
Oh by the way I know you are Patsy over on [clubadventist].com
Only one person would defend Bonnie like that and who has a son in Oregon.

I was to trusting of people like you and Bonnie. I should have NEVER used my real name on this forum EVER or let it be known I worked for the church.

Quite a damning PM. Pity the person didn't get a life and find more to do with their time. I won't comment on the number of different personalities! Nor will I say more about you working for the Church, but I've just got one question? Did you ever get reprimanded for using the internet for purposes other than your work, while you were at work?
